Description This query permits the identification of the genes that are the most uniquely, commonly and highly expressed in a human organ, tissue or cell type of interest available in TranscriptoNET. The most commonly expressed genes were identified out of 23,000 that were examined across all 600 specimen types in the TranscriptoNET KnowledgeBase. The most uniquely expressed genes were identified as showing the highest levels of expression in the target organ, tissue or cell type when compared to all others tested. In addition to obtaining the average expression levels of the most commonly and uniquely expressed genes, users can also identify those genes that demonstrate the highest levels of expression overall in a target organ, tissue or cell type.
